Darrara Parents Association Annual Walk is happening tonight from 7.30pm!
Not a walker? No worries — kiddies games and treats available from 6.15pm 🍭🎯 and music from 8pm 🎶
Come along, show your community spirit, and support a great cause — all in aid of Darrara National School ❤️
On Friday evening May 15th we will be welcoming athletes, joggers, walkers and their families to take part in the Darrara National School 5k & 10k road races as well as our Childrens Sports Event.
Please note that there will be minor disruption in and around the Ring/Darrara area from 6:00pm. The race HQ is Darrara National School and the course maps and previews are available on our event page:

Race parking is adjacent to the school. We encourage people to arrive early to register and warm up. At 7:15 pm race participants will be assembled and guided to their 5k and 10k start lines. Both races finish at the school gates.
A lead car will lead each race. Please note that roads will be open, but all junctions will be manned and traffic calming will be place.
There are two water stations on the 10K course and one water station on the 5k course. Refreshments will be available in the school for all participants after the races and prizes will be awarded for the 1st, 2nd and 3rd male and female in each race.
A huge thank you to the team of volunteers (Race stewards on the course, photographers, ambulance personnel, bakers, registration staff, school staff, Childrens event organisers, Parents association, parents, entertainment etc) who are making this event happen. We would also like to thank our sponsors and members of the community who have supported the event in any way. We would like to invite you all back to the school for a well-earned cuppa when your job is complete.
