We are delighted and thrilled that our famous chowder was one of 3 dishes featured in the Michelin Guide Inspectors' Dishes of the Month for August. The guide features the best restaurants in Great Britain & Ireland and the inspector commented

“At this rural County Leitrim pub, it was such a delight to enjoy a delicious chowder made with the bounty of the Irish seas. The liquor was creamy and had a great tomato flavour alongside delicious tones of fish fumet; this was freshened by an array of herbs, among which tarragon was the most pronounced. Cubes of potato and diced fresh tomato added texture but, most importantly of all, the chowder was filled with plump and juicy pieces of flavourful fresh fish.”

It's so upsetting to see this after all the hard work & volunteerism that went into making a really successful Regatta weekend, a vital time to raise funds for this incredible club. The octuple is a really important part of the club as among it's many uses it plays a huge role in the development of the youngest members, creating & fostering team building, resilience & discipline.

We are now open on Tuesday evenings from 5pm. Share a selection of starters and a glass of w**e pre cinema, just pop in for our famous wings, maybe our delicious burger or fresh fish and chips or go the full hog with choices from our a la carte menu. All our ingredients are sourced from local, organic & artisan suppliers and cooked fresh. It's what are all about!
