Café Lounge - Carrick-on-Shannon

Café Lounge - Carrick-on-Shannon Open 9 - 5, Monday to Saturday Mercantile Plaza, Carrick on Shannon. Relax. Refresh. Enjoy... Artisan Hand roasted Coffees in a beautiful, relaxing atmosphere.

Serving all your favourite coffees, a great selection of teas, pastries, savoury lite bites and sweet treats in a beautiful environment. Really good coffee is hard to find, to solve this problem we decided to take control of everything from sourcing the right coffee beans through roasting – the way we like it – to make a perfect cup for everyone. Thinking of tea lovers, we serve more than 30 different teas brewed from loose tea leaves. Cakes, bakeries, soup, salads, quiches, paninis, sandwiches also available. If you like our coffees and teas, you can buy freshly roasted coffee beans and tea leaves along with many accessories.

Tea is a much bigger world than black or green.

We picked four very different loose-leaf teas to show just how much variety there is: Earl Grey Blue Flower, Sencha Ginger Lemon, Chamomile and Pear & Goji.

Different leaves, flowers, fruit and botanicals. Different colours in the cup. Different ways to find your favourite.

We have plenty more on the shelf too.

Loose leaf by the pot, or to take home.

A walk by the Shannon, back to work, or straight on the road?

Same Artessa coffee we serve inside, roasted just across town - only this one is coming with you.

By the time the first coffee lands on a table, quite a bit has already happened.

Machine on. Espresso tested.
Scones out of the oven.
Cakes ready for the fridge.

Then the first cappuccino, the first espresso, a magazine opened…

Morning has officially started at Café Lounge.

Your turn when you’re ready.

First school day done. Everyone made it home.

Bags collected. Stories coming back. Lunchboxes returning in various states of emptiness.

Today’s report:
Children - delivered and collected.
Uniforms - survived.
Parents - slowly remembering how the school-run routine works.

A half-finished coffee, half a croissant and a few quiet minutes later, September feels properly underway.
