Our festival queen is back tonight. After smashing Latitude and Wilderness, Alice Laffan is back for some tunes in The Front Bar from 10pm.

she has recently been confirmed (of course) for Electric Picnic end of August. as a build up, Alice plus band will be storming the The Good Room on August 22nd. Alice will be joined be the magical Darragh O'Connor, Gavin Glover and Emmet Jones on that night. Pay what you can gig. More info soon.

If you're not on board the Just Alice train, there is plenty of space!

We are delighted to announce that we are performing an MTV Unplugged tribute gig in Scraggs Alley Carlow on Friday the 14th of August. It's organised by Rory Walsh and is part of the Carlow Beo! initiative.

Here's is the event in Rory's words
"We will be performing songs from Nirvana, Alice in Chain, Chris Cornell and more! These are bands that have inspired me throughout my music career and shaped the musician I am today. We hope to bring a little nostalgia to anyone who remembers these performances.

I would like to thank the Carlow Arts Office for this incredible opportunity to pay homage to these amazing artists. I would also like to thank Scraggs Alley for hosting our event and huge thank you to the amazing Emmet Jones for opening the event".
