Low tide views from our new restaurant 🌊

We continue to be blown away by the incredible local support and the demand to dine with us here on Bundoran’s West End. Thank you all so much. ❤️

Our new spacious restaurant, with its panoramic glass frontage overlooking Donegal Bay, is everything we dreamed of but with a building like this come a few challenges.

The main one is acoustics.
When we’re full of people enjoying themselves, it can get quite lively and noisy.
We’re fully aware of it and are already looking at solutions to improve it.
Having invested our life savings into creating this place, we just ask for a little patience while we get it right.

If noise is something that really bothers you, it may be worth waiting until we’ve made those improvements rather than leaving us a negative review.
Earlier sittings are quieter and better suited to family’s .

The other challenge is that big yellow ball in the sky! ☀️
Between 5pm and 7pm, the sunshine can make the left-hand side of the restaurant quite warm. Our air conditioning is running flat out, and we’re exploring ways to reduce the heat without taking away from the incredible views.

On a brighter note, we broke another record last night.
The restaurant was buzzing, and the feedback from our guests was amazing.
Moments like that make all the hard work worthwhile.

We’re only getting started, and we’re committed to making Stoked Bundoran even better. 🙏

Strong start to week 7 here in beautiful Bundoran ☀️
Looking like a busy few weeks ahead, we are booking out pretty far in advance.
We have an opening for front of house staff for the August bank holiday week and then if we stay busy, we should have hours available from September onwards .

One Month of Stoked Bundoran ❤️

One month already.

It’s been one of the most exciting, exhausting, rewarding and challenging months of our lives.
We pushed it to limit, and beyond.

The build went right down to the wire, and from the moment we opened the doors, we went straight into big numbers every single day. There hasn’t been much time to stop, catch our breath or take it all in—we’ve simply put our heads down and given it absolutely everything we have.

Along the way we’ve had to make some difficult decisions, celebrated some brilliant days, learned a lot, and come through a few tough moments too. That’s all part of opening a new restaurant.

To the 99% of you who have walked through our doors with kindness, encouragement and patience—thank you. It genuinely means more than you know.

We’ve watched lightning storms roll across Donegal Bay, spotted dolphins passing by the windows, seen unforgettable sunsets, and welcomed thousands of guests. Every day reminds us just how lucky we are to call this place home.

We’ve also been incredibly grateful to receive such a fantastic review from the Patrick + Russell, giving us some wonderful national exposure at just the right time.
We also had welcome visit to STOKED STRANDHILL from broadcaster R O Z all in the same week.
The phone was hopping 😅

Most importantly, thank you to Bundoran for welcoming us into your community. From day one, we’ve felt the warmth and support of the town, and we’re proud to now be a small part of it.

Week three complete✅
Learning and adjusting as we find our flow

We hope everyone enjoyed this weekend’s lunch service, as today was our last lunch service for the foreseeable future.

We gave it a proper go, but we’ve decided to focus on what people seem to want most – our evening service.

We really enjoyed the lunch menu, and many of you have loved it too.
However, as a new restaurant, lots of people are still coming in to see what we’re all about.
Many guests arrive expecting a larger menu with burgers, roast dinners and more traditional options, but that has never been our offering .

Rather than trying to be something we’re not, we’ve decided to focus on what we do best – fresh, flavour-packed sharing plates inspired by cuisines from around the world.

At Stoked, our focus has always been great food, great service and a relaxed atmosphere.
It’s what we’ve been doing in Strandhill for the past eight years, and it’s what we’ll continue to do here in Bundoran.

By stepping away from lunch, we’ll have more time to develop exciting specials, keep improving, and give our evening service the attention it deserves.

If you haven’t visited us yet, come in with an open mind and enjoy the food, the view and the service .
If you’re looking for something different, there are plenty of great places locally doing that and doing it well so it’s no problem if our restaurant or our food doesn’t suit you.
Thankfully there is so many of you that do like what we do and that’s the kind of folks we are happy to have in our restaurant.

We’re delighted with how Stoked Bundoran has been received, proud of our team, and excited about what’s ahead.

The demand and buzz from Bundoran and surrounding areas has been unreal and we couldn’t feel more supported and welcome.
Great to see some of Strandhill regulars that also came to support us .

One team one dream ❤️
What a week that was!

We are missing the lunch time squad in this photo but what a job all the crew done on opening week.

The bar to the kitchen and the restaurant teams, they all really smashed it and we are so proud and humbled to see these guys work so hard for this restaurant we have created.

We all pushed it to our limits and beyond this week and we feel like we’ve been hit by a bus, a bus of nearly 1000 happy customers that is !

Blown away by the support of the local community and businesses that got behind us and wished us well.

We may have taken on too much trying to do lunch and dinner straight off the bat and at times we felt like we were going under but with the team pushing so hard , it didn’t translate to all the happy customers.

So for now it’s -

•Dinner service remaining the same Wednesday to Sunday 4-9.30

•Closed Monday and Tuesday .

Thanks so much again to the staff and everyone who came to see us.
Onwards and upwards 🙏

Been meaning to post this for a while, but spare minutes have been hard to come by!

We’re delighted to finally share our menu with you all.

We’ve brought over some Stoked favourites from Strandhill while adding plenty of new dishes, with our house-made tacos bringing strong Mexican influences to the menu.

One thing we’re particularly proud of is that we’re making all of our tortillas and tostadas from scratch using a tortilla machine imported from Mexico.

We poured our first Guinness, a momentous occasion 🥹

We had a trial night on Friday to see how things went .
All the new Stoked gang did real well and the crew that came in to sample seemed to love the food and service 🙏

We thought it was a good idea to get most of our team together to visit Stoked Strandhill where it all began.

Bookings are filling up fast, all bookings taken on our online system only.

We are all buzzing to get going now!
