🎉 20 Wexford Producers Reach the Blas na hÉireann 2026 Finals! 🎉

Congratulations to the 20 exceptional food and drink producers from County Wexford who have been announced as finalists in Blas na hÉireann 2026, The Irish Food Awards.

The countdown is now on to Di**le, where winners will be announced on Friday 2nd October as part of a fantastic celebration of Irish food and drink.

👏 Best of luck to all the Wexford finalists. We are incredibly proud of your achievements and look forward to cheering you on in Di**le!

Check out today's chicken salad special which is marinated in ginger, garlic & soya sauce on a bed of delicious locally-grown mixed leaves from Gorse Farm, grated carrot & courgette, scallions, mixed peppers & tomato. A perfect lunch for the warm temperatures we're having this week!

If you happen into the cafe, we have some brochures for the John Dwyer Trad Weekend happening next weekend in New Ross. If you're not stopping in, visit their website (on the poster) to see the events scheduled and to book tickets.

It's a great recommendation from our in-house musician Deirdre! Among the many talented musicians performing over the weekend will be Linda's brother Steve Larkin, so definitely worth checking out the line up.
