TO OUR WONDERFUL BORRIS COMMUNITY
It is with a heavy heart that we announce the closing of Teddy’s Take Away. After 26 incredible years, it is time to bring Teddy’s story to an end.
The pressures facing the small business sector mean it is no longer viable for us to keep the doors open without compromising on quality or raising the prices beyond what’s fair. While the recent economic challenges and rising costs made the decision for us, we leave with our heads held high and a business history we are proud of.
When we started in 2000 we’ve never imagined the journey ahead of us. Making so much food and catering to this town over the years was definitely very hard work at times, but we truly enjoyed every single minute of it.
We have shared more than just food with this community – from celebrating important and happy occasions together to the hard times saying goodbyes to familiar faces, family and friends. Through all the highs and lows, the daily chats across the counter gave us memories to cherish forever.
We want to say a warm thank you to all our brilliant staff who worked with us and those who helped behind the scenes throughout the years. We couldn’t have done it without you.
To our loyal customers, thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your business, your kind recommendations to others, and your endless support over the years. You weren’t just business to us; you became our friends, and we are going to miss you all.
It has been an absolutely unforgettable ride!
