Management at a rural Kerry pub say they have been left deeply upset after a family allegedly left the premises on Tuesday without paying for their meal.

We just want to say a huge thank you to everyone who reached out, shared our previous post, and showed us so much kindness and support following the incident where a family left without paying their bill.

Unfortunately, despite the attention the post received, the family involved has not come forward to settle the bill. We do have CCTV footage of the incident, but what has truly stood out to us through all of this has been the incredible support from our community.

We have honestly been blown away by the response. So many of you shared our post, sent messages of encouragement, and stood behind us. We’ve even been contacted by radio stations and newspapers wanting to share our story — something we never expected in a million years.

Running a small business can be challenging at times, but moments like this remind us how lucky we are to have such loyal and caring customers around us.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you all for your continued support, kindness, and encouragement. It truly means the world to us.
