Congratulations to our artist John O Carroll. John is a consultant to the great new BBC program broadcast on BBC4 last night 'Treasures of Ancient Egypt. In the first episode it opened with John and presenter Alastair Sooke looking at the earliest examples of Egyptian art and John demonstrating the making of colors from pigments extracted from rocks in the Western Sahara. We are hosting another exhibition of Johns work in Dublin later this year.

Ireland has left the bailout. A Frances Bacon has just sold for 147 Million Dollars. The Stock Market in the USA is near an all-time high. Shares in Ireland are at double their lows of the past five years. House prices in Dublin are on the rise.

We are adding to our winter format by opening on Sundays from 2pm to 5pm till Christmas. On Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays we will be open from 12 till 2pm to reflect the times that people are coming in.Thursday to Saturday will still be 10 to 4pm We will often be in the gallery or the studio outside these hours so message us if you want to drop by.
