To our wonderful community,

It's with heavy hearts that we share some difficult news. Saturday, January 10th will be Cream Maeve's last day. Our doors will close for the final time that evening.

When we started this journey, we never imagined the warmth and love you would show us. You made the drive to Ballymoe. You celebrated birthdays with us, brought your families for weekend treats, and filled our little café with laughter and joy. You believed in what we were building here.

From our family to yours, thank you. Thank you for every smile, every review, every time you told a friend we were . Thank you for letting us be part of your memories.

We have two more days to share together. If you can make it, we'd love to see you one last time. Let's fill these final moments with the same warmth that's defined our time together.

Winter warmth in every bite 🍪☕

There's something magical about the smell of fresh-baked cookies on a cold January day. Our Triple Chocolate Chip cookies are the perfect companion to a rich hot chocolate or our signature coffee.

We bake them fresh, and they're best enjoyed warm while watching the Roscommon countryside through our windows.

We're delighted to have a transition year student joining us for work experience at Cream Maeve.

Here in rural Ireland, there's often an unfair pattern where boys doing farm work get paid while girls doing shop or hospitality work go unpaid. We don't believe that's right.

Every person who contributes their time and energy to our business deserves fair compensation, regardless of gender, age, or experience level. Work has value, and we believe in paying for that value.

Our work experience student is learning the craft of specialty coffee, handcrafted ice cream making, and what it takes to run a small family business in the countryside. And yes, they're being paid fairly for their time.

Because ethical choices matter in everything we do - from sourcing local ingredients to how we treat the people who walk through our doors, whether they're customers or future craftspeople learning their trade.
