Wishing ‘Peaches Runners’ the very best of luck in the Dublin City Marathon

Winners supporting a winning team! 💚❤️🍑

A huge thank you to Mayo captain Jack Coyne for showing his support for Peach’s Runners. 💚❤️

Mayo will take over Dublin once again on Sunday, 26th October, as an incredible 55 Peach’s Runners take to the streets for the Dublin City Marathon, all in memory of Peach and in aid of Mayo Roscommon Hospice Foundation.

At this rate, maybe we should just rename it the Mayo Marathon! 😂💚❤️
Come on Mayo… and come on Peach’s Runners! 🍑🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

Well done lads

It was a Camino unlike any other for three Mayo men who raised over €8,000 for the Irish Motor Neurone Disease Association after they completed the famous 280-kilometre walk through the Iberian Peninsula.

Liam Foody, Brian O’Neill and Joseph Lyons from Ballyhaunis completed the trek in eleven days - days which were twice tinged with sad news from back home.

Speaking to the Irish Independent, Liam said that walking the Camino Portugués from Porto to Santiago was the brainchild of three men who wanted to push themselves physically for a good cause.

His friend Brian suggested that they would do the walk in aid of the Irish Motor Neurone Disease Association, a charity which supports people and families affected by motor neurone disease.
