Hi Guys,

Thank you for all the kind messages / texts / phone calls over the that least few days. We are very grateful for your understanding around the difficult decision it has been to close.

We are open for one more weekend and are looking forward to catching up and remembering all the great times we had during our time in the pub.

Hi Guys,
After 21 years in Mitchell’s Bar we have decided to close up. Work commitments and the changing landscape of rural pubs across ireland has brought us to this decision.

We would like to thank everyone that came through the doors during this time. Your support over the years has always meant a lot to us.

When we close the doors next Sunday night Oct 6th it will be for the last time.

🏆 FAI Youth Inter-League Cup Final 🏆

Our GFA U18 Boys Squad in the Final this Saturday as they take on the Dublin District Schoolboy League in Galways' 3rd consecutive National Youth Final.

Date: 24th February
Time: 2:00pm
Venue: Athlone Town Stadium

Admission will be €5 for adults/ U16s go free.

The Annual FUN Christmas Quiz is on Tonight at 9ish… It’s €5 per person and Teams of 4 or thereabouts….. Come along for a laugh…. It is not a rehearsal for MasterMind.
All money divided between 1st and 2nd Place.
