Andrew Brown is undertaking a massive 200km run for charity. He will be starting from the pub here in Ballinamore Bridge and running all the way to Balbriggan, Dublin, this Thursday, the 8th of January.
Andrew is a nephew of my wife Rosie and is completing this run in memory of his late father, Seán Anthony Brown (Rosie’s brother). This is a huge undertaking and a wonderful effort to honour his father’s memory while also raising money for charity.
He is raising funds for Cuan Mhuire – an organisation very close to the Brown family’s hearts, with Seán having volunteered with the charity over many years.
Andrew will be setting off from the pub at 8am this Thursday, the 8th of January, and it would be great to see people come out to show their support and give him a warm send-off on his mission.
There is a link to the GoFundMe below if anyone would like to donate – it would be very much appreciated:

A link to the Irish Independent article will be in the comments if you would like to read more.
