Pool League - Wednesday nights

Beware! the foxes are on the prowl..

The new boys of the Ballina Pool League, An Sionnach Rua of Bonnifinglas, announced their arrival with an astonishing 8 – 1 victory over one of the fancied favourites Emmetts.

Driven on by mercurial captain ‘ Daredevil’ Declan Mcgloin who produced some pulsating pots to lead by example, accompanied by other fantastic displays of skill and coolness under pressure from Decos army of Adrian Padden, Patrick Hennigan, Daren Howley, Kieran Durkan and the prodigy Conor Davey, the Sionnachs showed that they were not just bunnies there for the taking.

Much appreciation also to the team from Emmetts for their sportsmanship , as there was very little in the difference, and all of the games could have gone the other way. The Sionnachs know it will be a different story on Emmetts home patch.
