Savoury Fare is a modern delicatessen restaurant and food company located in Athlone, Co.Westmeath. It is owned and run by Des Hennelly and Rory Currid, both chefs with over thirty years experience in chef and hotel management. We have three restaurants located in Irishtown, Fernhill and Monksland. With nearly 20 years experience, we have a vast knowledge of the food business. All our food is 100% homemade, with quality our biggest priority. We are customer aware, placing a strong emphasis on customer service. We provide our customers with a high quality, wholesome food in comfortable surroundings. We are famous for our chowder, club sandwich and lasagne, to name but a few. Savoury Fare uses locally based suppliers supporting local farmers and producers is central to its ethos. All savoury fare restaurants are busy, friendly, informed yet informal. The perfect environment to meet family, friends or that business meeting. Expect a warm welcome and food you love at Savoury Fare!

ONE YEAR IN MOATE! It's been incredible watching this community grow and getting to know all of you over the last year. As Des said, the success of this place is because of you, and we couldn't be more grateful. So thank you!!

Our restaurant Tuar Ard Arts Centre Moate will open at the earlier time of 8am tomorrow, Tuesday 15th September for breakfast.
Fernhill Athlone opens at 9am.
Our Monksland opens at 8.30pm and Irishtown from 9am.
Call in for the best breakfast on the road to the Ploughing — we’ll have the kettle on and the brown bread fresh out of the oven !
