It has not been a easy year for anybody in the hospitality industry and every day we thank you the people of Athlone for supporting our business.
Our opening hours for the next few days are posted below and we wish you all a very Happy Christmas from our family to yours.

Hello our fantastic customers . ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️We have to take a little break! 😥 It’s not going to be for too long , just a few weeks and we hope to reopen the doors by the 20th July. We have a family matter that has to be attended to. Myself and Diana really want to thank you so much for all your continued support up to this and we will be back very soon , excited to look after you all again . If you could please share this post it would be greatly appreciated so people are not disappointed , arriving to the cafe and we are not there .

We are very sad and disappointed today . Diana and myself ( Luis) try so hard every day to ensure our customers are happy . We pride ourselves on looking after people like they are our own family. We take great satisfaction in the work we do and how we manage our business from a customer service point of view. We maintain our kitchen to the highest standard. Yet somebody has taken a dislike to us . We feel this person is trying to destroy our business for their own gain . We are asking our customers on this occasion to help us. To report this profile and have it removed from Facebook. This person only set up this page to ruin our good name . We need your help folks and we thank you now for helping us survive through what has already been a very difficult year .

Thanks to all of our wonderful customers for their continued support, we now have an opening for a full-time staff member. Have you got flair in the kitchen, a positive, outgoing personality, great initiative and a willingness to learn then we want you? Experience with Portuguese/Brazillian Cuisine an advantage. You will need to be flexible in your working hours over a 6 day week.
Salary based on experience. We are a family run business, and we value our team like they are our family.

Tropeiro beans, also known as ‘Feijão Tropeiro’, is a very traditional Brazilian dish. It started over a century ago, when the transportation of goodies in the state of Minas Gerais was made by the cattleman. Cattlemen just mixed beans, eggs, smoked sausage, cassava flour, among other ingredients they had, in one big skillet, creating what we call today the ‘Feijão Tropeiro’ or ‘Tropeiro Beans’. We serve Troperio Beans with a skewer of Irish Steak .. The perfect meal🥰🥰🥰🥰 .

We are changing our hours!! As the Covid situation continues we have to adapt as most other businesses have done already . We have made the decision to adjust our opening hours , while still ensuring that we deliver a high quality product when our doors are open . Our new hours are
Tuesday -Sunday 11-8
We will remain closed on a Monday .
We will look at this again when the Covid 5 restrictions are lifted .
