💔 A Sad Goodbye to Our Social Dancing 💔
It is with heavy hearts that we announce we will no longer be hosting our weekly Social Dancing at Spruce & Willow.
This is not a decision we have made lightly. Over the past number of years, we were encouraged time and time again to introduce social dancing, and we listened. We gave it a go, hoping to create something special that people could look forward to each week.
Unfortunately, after 11 weeks, the support simply hasn’t been there to make it sustainable.
We won’t hide our disappointment. It’s particularly disheartening when so many of those who encouraged us to start social dancing were nowhere to be seen when it came to supporting it. As much as we would love to keep it going, we have to be realistic. Sometimes you just have to call a spade a spade and know when it’s time to cut your losses.
To those who did come along and support us, thank you from the bottom of our hearts. ❤️
We genuinely appreciate every single one of you who took to the dance floor, brought a bit of life to the room and made the effort to support us. You’re a fantastic bunch of dancers, and we sincerely hope you find somewhere wonderful to continue doing what you love.
For now, it’s goodbye to our weekly social dancing, but never say never! We may well host the odd one-off dancing event in the future, so keep an eye on our page.
Thank you again to everyone who supported us over the past 11 weeks. It meant more than you know.
