Join us in Báinín on Wednesday for an intimate concert with singer and multi instrumentalist Cáit Ní Riain. Cáit will perform a mix of traditional Irish songs and her own compositions.

After the performance, the space will be opened for those of you who would like to share a song, a poem, or a reflection of any sort. We look forward to seeing you there.

Doors 5.30. Show starts 6pm.

From a farm in Brazil to your table.

I remember when we first opened Báinín we spent a lot of time choosing the coffee. We tried so many different ones and weren’t fully sure.

Until a friend of Triona’s told her about Carrow. We ordered a bag online and once we tasted it we knew we had found the one.

Meet Serra do Cigano ☕

It’s grown by João Hamilton and his partners on farmland near Caconde, São Paulo. Carrow are on their seventh year getting coffee from that same farm - they buy it direct and know the people who grow it.

No artificial fertilisers or pesticides. Only the ripe cherries, picked by hand. Dried on raised beds. The springs around the farm replanted.

Then it’s roasted in small batches on a family farm in Sligo - light-medium for maximum sweetness, so all that roasted hazelnut, almond and caramel comes through.

We bring it down to Annascaul to serve to you.
