Béile le Chéile

Béile le Chéile Béile le Chéile is a small, independent, owner-run café. We make everything in house, mostly using local and seasonal ingredients.

Our name translates as 'a shared meal' and what we aim to do is share the food that we think is good with you.

The preparations for the food festival begin in earnest today. At Beile le Cheile, we'll have two offerings for the Taste Trail:
1. Baked portobello mushroom stuffed with Cashel blue cheese, sage and almonds with a smoked paprika mayonnaise
2. A sweet plate of mini blueberry scone, orange and almond cake and a chocolate, cheesecake and raspberry brownie.

It's been a while since we checked in here. We've been busy making yummy cakes and great lunches. We're also thinking of extending our hours into the evenings from next week. What do you think?

It's a sunny morning in Di**le. For anyone wanting to soak up the sunshine, we have a lovely outdoor balcony (in the sunspot that is Dick Mack's Yard). And for when the weather (inevitably) turns, we have the stove lit in the café. It's the best of both worlds at Béile le Chéile :)

We got a lovely email from a customer this morning. It put a smile on our faces on what is a rainy Monday morning in Di**le.

'Just a quick note to tell you what a wonderful job you are doing. My husband Cathal, my little girl and myself visited last Tuesday on a typical Di**le showery day!! We really enjoyed our afternoon treat of cupcake, cookie, coffee and my delicious Di**le cream tea. We are regular visitors to Di**le and I look forward to visiting Beile Le Cheile again, hope to try lunch next time!
We love 'grazing' around the coffee shops in Di**le and I think you have something really different and special in town.
We'll be recommending to family and friends!
Go n-eiri leat !'
