"Home is wherever we are together".

This applied to these two families who made Bula Vinaka as their dining room during their in July. The Leimena from discovered their Indonesian comfort food, and shared stories of their Dutch-Maluku cultural heritage  On the other hand for Alan and his family from the search for authenticity and new experience lead them to request what they called "the rice table experience", known in Indonesia with various names as Megibung (Bali), Bancakan & Ngeliwet (Java), Patita (Maluku) and so forth.

What an honor for us to be part of your home away from home and take delight in our times together.

Kutipan ini berlaku bagi dua keluarga yang menjadikan Bula Vinaka sebagai ruang makan keluarga selama liburan mereka di bulan Juli. Keluarga Leimena yang selalu gembira, datang dari Belanda, dan bolak-balik berkunjung untuk menikmati  makanan Indonesia rumahan, dan berbagi cerita tentang warisan budaya Belanda-Maluku mereka. Di sisi lain, bagi Alan dan keluarganya dari Belgia, keinginan untuk pengalaman baru dan otentik membuat mereka kembali lagi untuk apa yang mereka sebut "makan nasi di daun", yang dikenal di Indonesia dengan berbagai nama seperti Megibung (Bali), Bancakan & Ngeliwet (Jawa), Patita (Maluku) dan sebagainya.
Merupakan suatu kehormatan bagi kami untuk menjadi bagian dari rumah kedua mereka di saat liburan serta ikut menikmati kebersamaan.
