We will also be making cooking demo for you to try : 🍲 a traditional Balinese soup made from the tender inner core of young banana stem. In Balinese language, jukut meaning vegetable, and Ares meaning = young banana stalk. The soup broth is made with galangal, turmeric, ginger, kencur, shallots, garlic, lemongrass, and chilies. Very tasty πŸ˜‹

Jukut Ares is very special and prepared during traditional ceremonies and temple festivals (like odalan or ngaben), where big groups of Balinese come to cook together. πŸ™πŸΌπŸŒΈ
