This class is designed for beginners and anyone who simply wants to enjoy a creative experience. No prior painting experience is needed, and just enjoy the process.

Balinese Painting Class: Young Artist (Penestanan) Technique 🎨

Join us for two hours of relaxation and creativity, where you'll learn the Young Artist painting technique and take home your very own masterpiece.

Inspired by one of Ubud’s distinctive art styles, this workshop explores bold color blocking, direct brush strokes, and scenes drawn from Bali’s landscapes, flora, and fauna.

Before the painting session begins, Ubud Story Walks will share a short introduction to the history and development of painting traditions in Ubud, including the Young Artist movement from Penestanan.
