From April to June, we celebrate the distinct flavors and traditions of Tabanan, bringing to life heritage dishes such as Jejeruk Bongkot, Be Genyol and Laklak Biu Penebel. Each dish is deeply rooted in Tabanan’s culinary identity, reflecting the region’s agricultural abundance, ceremonial heritage, and understated yet soulful approach to flavor. What makes them especially distinctive is their intimate connection to Tabanan’s fertile landscapes and enduring village traditions.

With nearly 80% of Tabanan shaped by farmland, highlands, and the dense jungles of regions such as Selemadeg, Pupuan, Baturiti, and Penebel, the regency’s natural landscape continues to define its culinary identity.
