To eat is to honor the quiet law of life: to take only what sustains, not what consumes. Food is meant to keep the flame alive, not to drown it in excess. When we overeat, we feed not the body but the emptiness that no flavor can fill. True nourishment comes from balance, from knowing when enough is enough, from respecting the rhythm between hunger and satisfaction. To eat just enough is to remember that life itself is delicate, that even survival asks for humility.
