At The Play Cafe, we’re all about serving healthy, homemade meals that you'll actually want to eat every day. We love working with local suppliers and sticking to seasonal ingredients, so every dish is not only tasty but nourishing too. 🥕

We know every child has their own unique tastes, so we’ve made it super easy to customize meals. Plus, almost everything on our menu is available in both adult and kids’ sizes.

And because we all remember the simple joy of cheese melting in the toaster, we’ve got a selection of yummy toasties on the menu for everyone to enjoy! 🌯

Our playgrounds🐒🌳

We pay close attention to designing spaces that stimulate imagination and creativity. There's a lot of thought behind play! We are working with an educational consultant to create the best playgrounds because we recognize the immense value of unstructured and structured play in a child's development. At the Play Cafe, we created two playgrounds, with toys of various sizes for all ages:

🌳The Outside Playground, where your children can find:
〰️ A big mud kitchen to make their chef dreams a reality
〰️ The friend-ship made out of bamboo for endless pirate adventures
〰️ A theatre for imaginative performances and role-playing
〰️ A soccer play area to practice their kicks and teamwork
〰️ A tipi tent for cozy hideaways and storytelling
〰️ A balance beam to challenge their coordination and balance
〰️ Swings for joyous flights through the air

🧩 The Indoor Playground, with:
〰️ A customized handmade kitchen and shop made by Sun Of Joe (@‌sunofjoey)
〰️ Baby blankets with a baby gym to stimulate early development
〰️ Puzzles and games to enhance problem-solving skills
〰️Wooden toys (Montessori approved) to encourage imaginative play
〰️ Blocks for building and creativity
〰️ Natural toys to connect with the environment

We are open every day from 8AM until 5PM and cannot wait to meet you and your family !

At The Play Cafe, every day is an adventure 🌳🐒. Watching children climb, stretch, and explore reminds us just how brave children can be.

It's not about reaching the top. It's about trying, balancing, slipping, laughing, and getting back up again. With each step, they grow more stronger and more confident.

We believe play is more than just fun. It’s how confidence is built!

Welcome to The Play Cafe – Your Happy Place on Gili Air! 🌱 🌈 ☀

As fellow parents, we know how important it is to find a space where both you and your children can have a magical time. That’s exactly why we created The Play Café—a warm, welcoming hub where families can connect, enjoy delicious food, and children can learn through play.

Why You'll Love The Play Café
☀ The only spot on Gili Air with both indoor and outdoor playgrounds
☀ On-site childcare assistants, so you can actually enjoy your meal, catch up on work, or have an uninterrupted chat with friends.
☀ A wholesome menu for the whole family—with most dishes available in both adult and kid sizes, made fresh and free from artificial additives.
☀ We take your coffee seriously.
☀ Tucked away in the heart of Gili Air, shaded by trees with a cool breeze.
☀ A friendly team that genuinely cares and goes the extra mile to make your visit feel special.

Whether you're here to share a meal, get some work done, or simply unwind, The Play Café is the perfect place to be. We hope you love it as much as we loved creating it! 🤍 Drop by today and experience it for yourself! 🌳🐒🛝🥙🍝

At PlayCafe, friendships happen fast! We love seeing kids from all different backgrounds bond—sometimes without even speaking the same language. But somehow, they always make it work. Maybe play really is the universal language. Come see the magic for yourself! 🔮💫
