Opened since July 26th, 1990, Pondol offers wide varieties of authentic Central Javanese food with carefully selected fresh ingredients. The name stands for PONDOK ES CENDOL, loosely translated as the house of cendol, a traditional dessert with green worm-like jelly appearance. Our cendol is made fresh daily with natural food coloring from pandan leaves and no addition of preservatives. Besides our cendol, Pondol is also well known for other signature dishes such as:
- Es Gempol Pleret:
traditional dessert made of rice flour with chewy texture, served with tropical fruits and palm syrup.

- Ayam Kalasan
sweet and savory marinated fried/grilled chicken

- Sate Ambal
Skewered chicken served with tempeh sauce and rice cake

- Sate Wates
Skewered chicken doused with curry broth, served with rice cake and various toppings.
