May is here and the schedule is full.

Sanur and Umalas both have a packed month — and Sanur keeps growing with more sessions and some new hosts joining us for the first time. Air dry clay, hand embroidery, amigurumi, mandala painting, ecoprint, batik, upcycle doll making, and a lot more across both locations.

Sanur is now part of the lineup.

We just opened our creative space there, and April is the first full month with sessions running across both Umalas and Sanur.

Beachbag making, punch needle, basic sewing, weaving, resin ocean, incense making, soap making, flower bouquet, mystical painting, pottery, ikebana, and more. A good mix of familiar faces and some new ones joining us for the first time.

Upstairs at Kopitoko Umalas has had a lot going on.

Pottery, punch needle, macramé, weaving, incense making, barista training, coffee chats on sustainability — the past few months have been a mix of making, learning, and good conversations with people who actually care about what they do.

We’re creatives at heart, and this space just felt like the natural place to share that — with friends, makers, and anyone curious enough to show up.

More sessions coming. Stay close.

We’ve always been drawn to art and craft, and we’re lucky to have so many dear friends who are artists and makers.

When we reopened Kopitoko Sanur, we wanted to create a small corner dedicated to them. Local Makers Corner by Kopitoko, is a space where our local artists and makers can showcase their work and where more people can discover what they do.

It’s a small way for us to support the community we care about, and for you to maybe bring home a piece of Bali that feels a little more personal.

When we reopened Kopitoko Sanur, we thought it would be nice to add something new to the menu as well.

We’ve been noticing how everyone is a little crazy about matcha lately, so we decided to do a small twist. We added our homemade mixed berry jam, made from scratch, to the matcha latte to give it a slightly fruity, floral note.

We call it the Matcha Berry Latte.

And we’re not going to gatekeep it. You can see how we make it in the next slide if you’d like to try making it at home.

But if you’d rather not deal with the mess, just come by and we’ll make it for you. Our place is pretty homey anyway.

Yes, we now have a new creative space at the new Kopitoko Sanur. But for March, we’re still focusing on Umalas for our arts and crafts workshops.

We have a few new friends joining us with new and fun sessions this month. Our regular workshops are still happening too, so if you missed them last month, this is your chance.

It’s been a week since we reopened Kopitoko Sanur in its new home.

This is the second time we’ve moved since we first opened in Jalan Pantai Sindhu, then Jalan Danau Tamblingan, and now Jalan Danau Tandakan.

It hasn’t always been easy, but Sanur has always held a special place in our hearts. It was our very first home. We met so many friends here who slowly became family. So many memories were made in this area.

Seeing familiar faces walk in again on reopening day meant a lot to us.

If you haven’t had the chance to visit, we hope to see you sometime soon.
