The one time I had breakfast was my last day where I wandered down to an old favourite Luhtu’s which is on Sanur beach. I love that they have friendly dogs napping away under some tables. Pineapple pancake & iced latte = simply delicious 😋

Final dinner was at Forketta and what a delightful surprise only a few metres from my hotel. The service was impeccable and food so delicious. The complimentary grissini with a dipping sauce to start with was one of the best things I’ve ever eaten. I ordered garlic bread & carbonara rigatoni with a limoncello spritz. Everything was amazing & I’ll definitely be returning.

Warung Sports. Jln Pantai Sindhu Sanur. I went there for lunch 4 times in 6 days. You can’t beat it for the freshest most delicious rolls & steak baguettes. The menu has so much delicious stuff on there. I wish there was somewhere comparable in Perth. Can’t wait to return in August 😋😋

I hadn’t been to Kudeta for at least 15 years so it was lovely to go back for lunch. Caesar salad & a cocktail were my choice & both delicious. Lovely venue right on the beach in Seminyak with exceptional service. Definitely higher end so if you want a wine be prepared to pay. Overall a lovely menu offering lots of choices & the group I was with all had delicious lunches. A great go to for a special occasion 🙏

Another first time visit for dinner. Glasshouse Sanur. Food and service both top notch. I had coconut crusted prawns & they were delicious. The cocktail was great too. Found at some places they were really strong but here was great. Very enjoyable dinner 👌

A few days in Sanur and first dinner of trip was at Jungle Tree. It was my first time & didn’t disappoint. Busy little spot so good idea to book. Lovely venue with live music. We went for tapas style shares and a cocktail. Would definitely return.

Tonight’s dinner and our last this trip as heading home later tonight. I haven’t been to this restaurant for at least 15 years after someone in our group didn’t have a great experience. Boy have I missed at as the service was impeccable & the meal divine.
It was also great avoiding the massive queue for gelato and instead having it bought to the table 🤭
Lovely to see the owner out chatting with the guests also 👌

Last nights dinner was at the Spanish restaurant in Sanur - Pescado. This place never misses a beat, their food consistently amazing. The table of tourists who were blabbering on at the top of their voices trying to out talk each other with no consideration for others was the only thing i can fault. But that’s not the restaurants fault - they found this table difficult to deal with too. Thanks for a beautiful meal & we will be back next time 🙏

Santorini - 1 word - disappointing!!

Santorini have a few locations and recently opened in Sanur. We were excited to come here as we had been to another of their restaurants and the Greek lamb was amazing. When the waitress uttered the words “sorry miss the lamb already finished” I should have just gotten up and left, but thought I’d try something different.
What I got was very average over cooked chicken skewers that I could have done better myself.
There were so many other restaurants we would have loved to try in our short time in Sanur - hence the disappointment. Only positive was it was a cheapish meal so didn’t waste too much money 🙏
