The "strawberry in a cup" is back!

Taste the strawberry juice, slight aroma of pandan leaves and bright acidity in this coffee. Originated from Rancabali, Ciwidey, West Java the coffee cherries undergoes an anaerobic fermentation with strawberry enzym for 24 hours before went to the drying bed.

This new release comes from different villages of Flores region with distinct characters and taste

Flores Mbohang is Anaerobic Natural coffee that have sweet character with strawberry notes and chocolatey after taste

Flores Uwu also processed with anaerobic natural process. This coffee have bright acidity with tropical fruits notes like guava and stonefruits

Flores Colol is fully-washed coffee that have more citric character with a hints of ambarella fruit (Kedondong) and cleaner body

Banyaknya macam-macam kopi baru dengan tasting notes yang aduhai tentunya membuat kita semua tertarik untuk mencicipi kopi tersebut.

Namun tahukah kalian bagaimana coffee roasters bisa mencantumkan notes-notes yang terdapat dalam masing-masing kopi?

Ya, Cupping! Proses yang lazim dilakukan tiap penyangrai kopi untuk mencicipi kopi yang mereka sangrai. Proses ini juga bisa dilakukan oleh kalian di rumah lho.

Caranya tidak terlalu sulit, siapkan wadah dengan diameter yang cukup lebar. Giling kopi yang kalian ingin cicipi dengan tingkat kehalusan sedang. Rasio air yang digunakan biasanya 8gram kopi dengan 150ml air bersuhu di atas 92 derajat celcius. Biarkan kopi berekstraksi selama 4 menit sebelum membuang ampas kopi yang terapung di atas seduhan. Selama menunggu kalian boleh menghirup aroma kopi yang tercampur dengan air panas. Setelah suhu menurun kalian boleh mencicipi kopi tersebut.

Proses cupping ini bertujuan untuk menstandarkan proses seduhan agar rasa yang ada pada kopi lebih "jujur" dan seragam serta tidak terpengaruh oleh efek pada proses brewing.
