We focus on long and slow cooking to develop the full flavour of our Rendang dishes and use no artificial flavour enhancers. Choose from a variety of Rendang dishes including Beef, Chicken and Duck Egg, or select regional specialties. We are famous for our generous portions and complete set meals at very reasonable prices.

Pelaku usaha di Kota Padang, Sumatra Barat, berhasil menembus pasar internasional dengan mengekspor bumbu rendang ke Norwegia.

Pembina Golden Catering Padang, Harti Ningsih, menyatakan bahwa ekspor perdana sebanyak 1 ton bumbu rendang akan dilakukan pada Februari 2025. Langkah ini diharapkan dapat memenuhi tingginya permintaan pasar global, terutama karena rendang telah dikenal sebagai salah satu kuliner terbaik dunia. Dengan ekspor ini, pelaku UMKM lokal mendapatkan peluang untuk mengembangkan usaha dan memperluas pangsa pasar mereka.

Upaya ekspor bumbu rendang juga mendapat dukungan dari berbagai pihak, termasuk Himpunan Pengusaha Rendang Minangkabau (Hipermi) dan Kantor Wilayah Ditjen Perbendaharaan Sumbar. Hipermi telah menghimpun 67 pengusaha rendang dengan kapasitas produksi hingga 10 ton per bulan, yang berpotensi meningkat tiga kali lipat dengan dukungan sentra produksi di daerah lain. Langkah strategis ini tidak hanya meningkatkan ekonomi lokal tetapi juga memberikan dampak positif pada sektor pertanian yang mendukung produksi bumbu rendang, seperti kelapa dan rempah-rempah.

ANNOUNCEMENT

After a lot of goings on over the past few months, we have come to the conclusion that now is the best time for us to go on hiatus, and find a new perfect venue for Rendang Republik.

This means that for the time being we are NOT open for daily orders/delivery via Gojek.

We are still able to fulfill catering requests, so please contact us directly via Whatsapp or our FB page if you want to order any of our Rendang Varieties (Beef, Chicken, Duck Egg, Tempeh) in bulk by the kg.

Thank you so much for all of the support you've given us over the past few years. We have loved serving our favourite family foods to everyone :)

We will update further as we progress towards opening Rendang Republik 2018 in a new and improved space over the coming months.

OPEN NOW FOR DELIVERY

Yay, today's the day!

The Republik's kitchen has reopened and we are back for delivery service from 12-9pm Tuesday - Sunday (Closed Monday).

All orders need to go through Go-food (Via Gojek app) at the moment.

We are live now for for LUNCH & DINNER

Fresh Rendang, Beef, Chicken, Duck Egg, Chicken curry and all your favourite sides are available.

In a few days we will be introducing some additional menu options - stay tuned!

Lastly, you will notice some small price increases across our menu. Whilst its coincidental timing with the end of our shop lease and move, it's necessary to continue to provide the same quality you expect and deserve from us. After 2.5years, with all staple ingredients increasing in price, we hope you understand we had no choice but to increase our prices slightly for the first time.
E.g. Full meal sets are now rp40,000

After lots of feedback we've also added basic meal sets (rendang + rice + one side) and increased options for double, triple and variety meat/protein sets so you can easily order more of your favourite Rendang!

COME AND SEE US FOR OUR LAST 2 DAYS AT JALAN RAYA SEMER

We're sorry to let our friends and fans know that this weekend will be the last 2 days of Rendang Republik as you currently know it.

Very suddenly and unexpectedly we have been left without a shop to sell from, and no suitable time to find another premises. We will close the shop at 9pm tomorrow, Sunday 4th February.

We have had an amazing 2.5 years here at our Jalan Raya Semer warung. Thank you to all that have supported us since we opened in 2015.

BUT - This is definitely not the end of Rendang Republik.

WE'RE CHANGING BUT STILL OPEN FOR DELIVERY

We will continue to serve up our famous fare for DELIVERY ONLY for the time being.

This means you can still find us on GO-Food (Go-jek app) for delivery. In fact, we will have an expanded menu (that has been planned since November). We expect our DELIVERY ONLY service to start on Saturday 10th February, and will update here once confirmed.

For large orders, you can contact us directly via phone, Whatsapp or FB messenger.

There's lots more to come, so stay tuned!

We've had a slightly longer break than planned due to the effects of rainy season ☔

But we are back today with our signature Rendang ready for a late lunch or dinner from 12pm.

Today is your last chance to get your Rendang fix this year, so come down for lunch from 12pm or dinner from 5pm before it's all gone!

We are closing for our annual holidays from tomorrow Friday 15 December and will reopen in the New Year for more Rendang fun :)

For those who celebrate, Merry Christmas, have a wonderful New Year 2018 and thank you so much for your support this past year. It means the world to us.

We can't wait to serve you your favourite Rendang dishes when we return.
