150 years before today’s coffee culture, Kawisari was already growing coffee in the mountains of East Java.

Established in 1870, Tugu Kawisari Plantation sits on fertile volcanic land around 1,000 metres above sea level, where Arabica and Robusta are still carefully cultivated and hand-sorted. Our Medium Dark Robusta went on to receive international recognition at AVPA Paris in 2019.

But Kawisari’s story has always been about more than awards. It is about generations of people who have grown, picked and worked with coffee here, carrying a tradition that continues in every cup we serve today.

This International Coffee Day, we raise ours to them.
