🌿 If you are looking for a meat-free dish without giving up rich, full flavours, Dal Makhani is the perfect choice.

This classic comes from the northern region of Punjab and is prepared with black lentils, gently simmered in a creamy, beautifully spiced sauce. The result is wonderfully hearty and satisfying. The real secret of Dal Makhani is the time: the longer it cooks, the silkier and deeper its flavour becomes.

Did you know? Indian cuisine works with a remarkable number of lentil varieties, far more than we tend to know here. In most households a lentil dish is prepared daily, as it is one of the cornerstones of Indian dining.

☀️ Our answer to the heat is an ice cold Ice Coffee Shake with ice cream. Coffee and dessert in a single glass.

On a scorching day there are few better ideas: it cools you down straight away, while the coffee gives back some of the energy the heat takes out of you. Homemade and wonderfully creamy, it has become one of our guests' favourites.

🌿 Who said a kebab has to be made of meat?

Hara Bara Kebab is one of the most beloved vegetarian specialities of Indian cuisine. We prepare it from spinach and fresh vegetables, with a filling of our homemade Indian cheese inside. It is not cooked on a skewer or in an oven; instead, we sear it to golden brown on a Tawa, a traditional hot griddle, just as it is done in India.

A Hara Bara Kebab az indiai konyha egyik legkedveltebb vegetáriánus specialitása. Spenótból és zöldségekből készítjük, belsejébe pedig házikészítésű indiai sajt kerül.
