All the way from the Philippines, Joshua brings his positive energy to Foodica à la carte restaurant, where he works as a bartender.

When he’s not behind the bar, you’ll probably find him enjoying a walk or relaxing on the beach. He loves Supetar for its beauty and peaceful atmosphere.
For Joshua, coming to Brač has been more than just a new job. It’s an opportunity to learn, grow and develop his skills while working alongside colleagues from all around the world.
And that’s what makes Waterman special. Different countries, different cultures, one team. 💙

Meet Renata!

Sometimes the path you never planned becomes the one that feels most like home. 💙

Renata came to Brač from Bosanska Gradiška. After finishing high school and working in a bank, life took her in a completely different direction – to Supetar and hospitality.

She joined Waterman in 2018, first working as a waiter, then as a bartender and today she is our Restaurant Manager.

Over the years, Supetar has become much more than a place to work. It became her home. In summer, her father comes to visit from Bosnia and Herzegovina, while winter gives Renata time to visit family in BiH or her sister in Canada.

From an unexpected career change to building a life on Brač - Renata’s story is a reminder that sometimes the best journeys are the ones we never planned. ✨

Meet Ivana! 😊

Born and raised in Supetar, Ivana has been part of the Waterman team since 2022. She has worked at both Hotel Osam and Waterman Svpetrvs Resort, and today you can meet her at reception, a role she loves for its dynamic and varied nature.

Waterman is also something of a family affair for Ivana, as both her father and sister work at the hotel. And as a mother of three, she has a special way with families and younger guests. Children and guests often remember her even after their holiday, and she has received plenty of little souvenirs and gifts over the years. 💙

Having worked at all three receptions within the resort, Ivana knows exactly how important good recommendations can be. She always adapts her suggestions to each guest, because Brač has something for everyone.

For those interested in history and tradition, she recommends places like Škrip and Dol, as well as Pučišća and the Blaca Hermitage. She also likes sharing some of the island’s lesser-known stories, such as the submarine tunnel near Milna. 🌿

And when she gets some time for herself, you’ll most likely find her with a good book in hand. 📚
