La Gitana Restaurant The name came from “škver ( “a shipyard” in the Dalmatian-Croatian dialect) that occupied this area in the 17-18.

Located in the very center of the old city of Stari Grad, restaurant La Gitana offers the best blend of traditional Dalmatian hospitality, incredible menu, and bold, sumptuous originality in and out of the kitchen. Škor is a small baroque square in the eastern part of the Stari Grad centre. century before the filling of the Stari Grad coast. On all sides there are houses with Renaissance and Baroque stylistic characteristics, while some were built in the style of the folk island architecture. The greatest value of the square is preserved in its entirety.
