🏛 Rovinj city museum is celebrating its 70th anniversary with two exhibitions in the Califfi Palace, despite ongoing research work related to the building's reconstruction.

One of the exhibitions, Museum on the Foundations of the City, showcases findings from archaeological research conducted in 2021 and 2022, tracing Rovinj's urban development from the late antiquity to the merging of the island with the mainland and the construction of the Califfi Palace. Visitors will also have the chance to see a portion of the city's walls located in the building’s foundations and gain insight into this previously unexplored part of the city.
