I u 2026. smo uvršteni u MICHELIN vodič za Hrvatsku i potvrđen nam je, još jednom, Bib Gourmand status. Istinski smo ponosni na ono što smo, kao tim, postigli u proteklih 26 godina.
No, mi danas vjerojatno ne bismo bili ovdje da na samom početku nisu bili oni, Mirjana i Mate. Ono što se danas ocjenjuje kao izvrsnost u gastronomskim vodičima, za njih je oduvijek bio način življenja. Održivost, kako je danas nazivamo, bila je temelj njihovih uvjerenja. Vjerovali su samo u vrijedan rad i u to da se svaki posao radi kako spada. Da svojoj obitelji osiguraju dostojanstven život i izgrade čestit posao, a gostima, koji su se tako često pretvarali u prijatelje, posluže pijat poštene, ukusne težačke spize.
Na ovome ćemo zauvijek biti zahvalni. Cijelim srcem.
In memoriam Mirjana Farac, 1949.-2026.
In 2026, we were once again included in the MICHELIN Guide Croatia, with our Bib Gourmand distinction reaffirmed. We are truly proud of what we have achieved together as a team over the past 26 years.
But the truth is that we probably would not be here today if it hadn't been for them from the very beginning, Mirjana and Mate.
What is recognised today as excellence by the world's leading gastronomic guides was, for them, simply a way of life. Sustainability, as we call it today, was the foundation of their beliefs. They believed only in hard work and in doing every job the way it should be done. In building a dignified life for their family and an honest livelihood, and in serving their guests, who so often became friends, generous plates of honest, flavourful, humble island food.
For this, we will be grateful forever. With all our hearts.
