Another summer season is behind us, filled with wonderful moments, smiles, and friendships. ❤️
Thank you to everyone who visited us, enjoyed our cuisine, and shared a part of your summer with us. Your support and kind words meant more to us than you can imagine. Because of you, every dish we prepared carried a special value, and every moment in our tavern was filled with joy and pride.
Throughout half a century of Konoba Willi, we have strived to satisfy even the most demanding guests, giving love and attention in every moment, and truly enjoying sharing our time with you.
We sincerely hope to see you again next summer… but time will tell.

This summer marks a very special milestone — 50 years since the founding of KONOBA WILLI, a beloved family restaurant established in 1975 by the Aleksic family.
Since then, the family, and a close-knit team of relatives, friends, and godparents — all working together with one heartfelt mission:

The origin of vinegar is connected with the discovery of wine. According to a legend from Babylon (5000 BC), a court official noticed that grape juice could be used to make wine, which later led to the discovery of vinegar. Vinegar was also known in Antiquity, allegedly Cleopatra (50 BC) conquered Mark Antony by preparing a love potion made of pearls dissolved in vinegar.
Aceto balsamico is an aromatic vinegar that is traditionally produced in Modena from the concentrated juice or must of white grapes, usually of the Trebiano variety. The product is dark in color and has a rich taste, obtained by standing for a long time in wooden barrels, some even for 100 years. Almost a work of art, until recently, this vinegar was reserved only for the delicate palates of the Italian rich class, but to our joy, commercial production began in the second half of the twentieth century. ❤️

Top quality olive oil requires healthy quality fruit, manual harvesting, cold processing within 12 hours, storage of oil in stainless steel barrels without the presence of air at a temperature of 18°C ​​and bottling under the strictest technological conditions. The oil obtained in this way is the richest in nutritionally valuable elements and has a pronounced aromatic note. In every drop of this extra virgin olive oil, centuries-old tradition and the most modern agricultural techniques and production technology are combined. 💚
