Meat lovers, we got you!

We love fresh fish, homemade pasta and the flavours Hvar gives us, but a good steak, juicy chicken breast or the most tender lambs rack has its place at our table too.

At Primi, food has always been about bringing people together. Family, friends, good laughter, good ingredients, a bottle of w**e and enough on the table for everyone.

Our special wood-fired oven plays an important role, but there is much more coming from this kitchen: homemade pasta, fresh seafood and dishes inspired by both Italy and Hvar.

Happy 80th birthday to Jakov Primi, the oldest living member of the Primi family on Hvar.

A life shaped by hard work, the land, fishing and more than 40 years in the local grocery store.

But above everything: family.

We are so proud of the man, father and grandfather he is, and grateful for everything he has passed on to the generations after him.

Happy birthday, Papa Smurf. Let’s celebrate many more years together.💙

Summer at Primi Piatti starts long before the first table is set.

During the quieter months, our family prepares for the season: growing herbs, turning our own oranges and apples into marmalades, making preserved onions and preparing the flavours that later find their way into our kitchen.

Some products come from our own garden and family kitchen. Others come from local producers we know and trust, from local w**es and olive oils to herbs and carefully selected specialties.

Everything is prepared and chosen with the same care, long before it reaches your table ☺️.
