Hvar does food really well - and one of the best things about eating your way through Hvar? You don’t have to choose between a seafood trip and a pasta trip.

Being right on the Adriatic, fresh seafood is obviously everywhere, but you also see a ton of Italian influence — so pasta, risotto, gnocchi and seafood end up sharing most menus.

When it comes to eating on vacation, we’re pretty tough critics and these are the places we’d recommend:

📍Dva Ribara — It’s right on the harbor, but don’t let that fool you. This place always has a line while some of the restaurants around it don’t… and there’s a reason. The food is great and you really can’t beat sitting right on the water with those views.

📍Stajun — A little more upscale and modern feeling than some of the traditional spots in Hvar. Great for a nicer dinner, but still relaxed enough that it doesn’t feel overly fancy. Guaranteed to have amazing food and service.

📍Macondo — This is what you picture in your head when you think dinner in Hvar. Old school, tucked into the stone streets of Old Town and very traditional. Definitely one to do if you want that classic Hvar dinner experience.

📍Maestro — OUR FAVORITE, hands down. If we could only tell you to book one, it would be this. Such a good atmosphere, incredible food and easily the dinner we talked about the most after the trip.

Mala napomena, s obzirom na veliki interes koji je ova objava izazvala. 😊

Ovo događanje nije održano u našem restoranu. Ovoga p**a mi smo bili gosti kod naših sugrađana i obitelji Kronjac, u njihovoj konobi, gdje se dva p**a tjedno može uživati u živoj glazbi ovog tipa.

Kao tradicionalan hvarski restoran, od srca podržavamo ovakva događanja spontana, opuštena i vesela, puna dobre energije, druženja i onog pravog mediteranskog duha.

Upravo je takvih večeri, čini nam se, naš Hvar željan. 💙
