Our barista selection coffees are carefully treated and prepared to emphasize their cup quality. We generally select “out of the box” coffees with different flavor characteristics for our barista selections. This way our customers get to try different coffees and learn more about what it takes to produce extraordinary beans and at the same time explore the array of flavors this fruit has to offer. We just ordered a fresh batch of Ethiopia natural, Debo washing station, Kochere grade 1. One of the coffees that made us fall in love with specialty. Looking forward to roasting and serving it to you soon!

Kava2 is shifting its working hours to adjust to the wintertime schedule. Starting tomorrow we’ll be open Mondays to Fridays 7-15 and on Saturdays 8-13. We’ll be closed on Sundays and holidays. Next working hours extension is due around Christmas time! 🎄 See you at kava!

Here’s a farewell to a place that started it all. Hvar was recently crowned as the best island in Europe by and we’re proud to serve our coffees in kava37. If you haven’t already visit us in Hvar next season. Over the winter we’ll be brewing in kava2 in Split. Here we go again. Another year and another season in Hvar is behind us. And what a season it has been! Faced with all the challenges of opening kava2 and kava roastery in Split, these three beautiful lionesses were the driving force behind kava37 this summer. Once again we laughed, cried, learned and grew together. As a family. None of this would be possible without all of you who paid us a visit or supported us in any other way. Our amazing coffee community stepped in to help in many ways, and so did our local guardian angels in Hvar. They’ll find themselves in this. We could never have done it without all of you! Now it’s time to clean up, pack up and shift to kava2 in Split which will be open year round. Brewing beautiful coffees from beautiful people for beautiful people. It’s time to pour the last cups in Hvar for the 2019 season. kava37 is open for the last day today, but fear not - kava2 in Split is open year round! We’re grateful to so many of you who stopped by and supported us wholeheartedly. If your travel takes you through Split visit kava2 and meet us there for your favorite cup. True meaning of kava family beautifully captured by our friend .vonscherer gives focus to what stands behind our coffees. Our roaster is a no hustle guy with great understanding of coffee and unique approach to roasting it. Together with from we’re on a quest for out-of-the-box coffees with the main focus on taste, quality and sustainability. Our IR7 from is fed with high quality beans you can enjoy at our shop or take home to brew them yourself. At the end of the day - team is what stands behind kava, and we’re happy to have an amazing one! We’ve somehow managed to push through the most challenging season so far and we already have our sights set on 2020. Opening a second location and setting up a roastery was a challenge. We’re happy that kava2 in Split will have it’s door opened year long. See you there!

Starting today kava37 in Hvar will be open 7-15 daily. We’ve noticed that the sun escapes us earlier than usual 😉 kava2 in Split keeps the regular schedule running!
