As we commemorate Black English-Speaking Heritage month, we celebrate our rich culture, traditions, and the history that make us who we are.
We remember our ancestors who paved the way and pointed us towards a brighter future, We honor the local heroes and heroines who continue to fights to preserve our language protect our traditions, and keep our history alive for generations to come.
But most of all, during this Heritage Month, we remember and give praise and worship to the One who has always been there for us, giving us strength and resolve through His grace, mercy, and love.
Our God has never failed us. Through the good times and the bad times, He has faithfully guided, protected, and seen us through.
To Him be the glory.
May this Heritage Month remind us not only of where we come from, but also of the responsibility we have to preserve our heritage and pass it on to those who come after us.
