Phoebe Tam
She has recently obtained her Masters of Music Degree in Mannes College of Music under full scholarship from the Hong Kong Jockey Club Music and Dance Fund. Prior to that, she has obtained her Bachelor of Music (Honours) degree and Professional Diploma from HKAPA. Tam was recipient of the Peter and Nancy Thompson Scholarship, the Hxong Kong Welsh Male Choir Scholarship and the Brenda and Lauren Scofield Scholarship Funds while studying at the Academy. Her appearances in operas include Violetta in " La Traviata", Donna Elvira in “Don Giovanni”, Despina in “Cosi fan tutte”, Sivene in “Le Cinesi”, Angelica in “Suor Angelica”, Micaela in “Carmen”, Musetta in “La bohme”, Cupidon in “Orphee aux Enfers” and Metella in “La Vie Parisienne ”. She has also performed actively as a concert soloist including ‘Mater Gloriosa’ in Mahler’s Symphony No.8 with SAR Philharmonic and Mendelssohn’s Hymn of Praise and Vivaldi’s Gloria in D with Hong Kong Oratorio Society.
Joyce Wah-Sheung Wong made her operatic debut as Barbarina in Opera Hong Kong’s production of Le Nozze di Figaro. Opera credits: Harry, Albert Herring (Intermezzo); Sophie, Wether (Le French May); Voice from Heaven, Don Carlo (Opera Hong Kong); Suor Genevieffa, Suor Angelica (Miami Lyric Opera); Pamina, Die Zaubeflöte (Seoul); Papagena, Die Zaubeflöte (Opera Hong Kong); Lu Mu-Zhen, Dr. Sun Yat-Sen (Opera Hong Kong); Frasquita, Carmen (Opera Hong Kong). Musical theater credits: Yvette, Gigi u/s (Media Theater); Belle, Beauty and The Beast (Hong Kong Singers). Joyce graduated from Westminster Choir College and Boston University.
