Looking for a relaxed brunch with your kids? Come dine with us at Nectar this Sunday and we'll invite your children between 5-12 years old to come into our kitchen, work with our chefs and learn to make their own delicious whole wheat sourdough, plant-based, and nutrient-laced pizza!

Toppings include:
Bell Pepper-roni
Grilled zucchini
Tomato Marinara
Cashew Burrata & Vegan Parmesan

Not only are most of our produces sourced certified organic, but we also use superfood ingredients and fermentation techniques to ensure we are giving our kids the very best.

Children in the modern world are born with an undeniable toxic burden. The proliferation of glyphosate, GMO, antibiotics and hormones are just some of the many chemical cocktails found in our food system. The biggest unknown is how these toxins interact and negatively impact a child’s gene expression.

Providing the cleanest food and environment together is the best effort we can make to safeguard our kids.

Looking for a bit of calm this Sunday? Read on for a brilliant write up and interview of how of how Nectar Integrative Dining has risen to represent the epitome of sophistication for plant based dining.

"Your food is very related to emotions. Would you say that most people come out of the dining experience feeling like they’ve learnt something?

I guess that was exactly what we were trying to do at Grassroots Pantry, but the model didn’t allow us to better connect with our customers the way we wanted to especially after we moved to a bigger location. Where we were previously was a tiny space; a hole in the wall. I cooked and served the food, presented guests with the bill, and then asked for feedback—in hopes of securing more regulars via that exchange of knowledge. When you’re running a model that’s much faster-paced, you need a lot more people—as a result, you lose that connection. Tying in emotions into a dining experience is very crucial and it’s really all about the engagement. The reason why we wanted to evolve after 7 years is to slow down and engage with our customers a bit more. We want to share with them the techniques we use and reveal the true background of our motivation."

For the past 7 years, Grassroots Pantry has truly been a labour of love. Driven by Peggy's passion, we worked tirelessly to run a sustainable restaurant and serve superfood-laced, organic and nutrient-dense food that’s good for both human health and planetary health. As part of our sustainability goals at GP, our internship placement programs are hugely popular and have been a major attraction for students wishing to enter the food service and sustainability industry.

This year, we have received over 35 applications many of whom with strong backgrounds in graphics & media production, as well as young cooks adopting a keen interest in nutritional food preparations.

Our final 15 have been selected to join us in the next 6 months to gain experience across GP, , and ; some flying in from as far as Las Vegas and Pollenzo, Italy, in addition to a couple interns sponsored by in Manila!

We are extremely proud to provide these opportunities to the next-gen of eco-warriors, by providing professional and safe space for them to contribute to our missions.
