During important family events, the family gathers here in the lapa to commune with the family's great ancestors.

Shutting down the rumour mill so we don’t grind more flowers and good people. Given the current climate and the toll it has taken on our lives, my partner in pie and I have decided to not acquiesce to the demands of all of that. There are obviously many other folks in the LAPA family, but the current potential future really rests on but two, essentially. We are tired. After 4 years of giving it our all, and fighting the pressure, bu****it and associated nonsense, LAPA as we know it will close up by the end of October when our lease expires. There will be a send off. More to follow. Stay tuned. Feel free to come around with cans of PVA and a roller in exchange for free drinks. Nothing beats whitewashing history…
