This weekend, we’re bringing our most considered Gesha Party experience to World of Coffee Bangkok 2026 () — celebrating 10 years of roasting in Hong Kong with a line-up built around some of the coffees we’ve been most excited about this season.

From Panama trophy lots like Janson X Lot GN01 and Esmeralda BOP #1, to wild and expressive coffees from Peru, Colombia and Ethiopia — this is a menu created for everyone who loves discovering how far coffee flavour can go 🌈

冇宏大藍圖，冇諗過世界舞台，
更加冇諗過有一日可以代表香港去到米蘭，
成為世界級咖啡比賽評審，
甚至去到舊年喺香港咖啡師大賽拿下第 5 名！

十年間，我哋開設屬於自己嘅 roastery，
亦都係由一袋袋生豆、一爐爐烘焙，
慢慢堆疊出嚟嘅夢。

但老實講，
比起獎盃同里程碑，
我哋更珍惜嘅，其實係日常。

喺節奏急速嘅香港，
大家都行得好快。
但喺 espresso 機前，
總會有人願意停一停。

一杯咖啡嘅時間，
足夠由客人變朋友，
由朋友變成家人。

我哋見證住大家相識、成長、轉工、創業；
亦見證住自己團隊由青澀到成熟，
有人開店，有人比賽，有人繼續喺吧枱前發光。

我哋一直成長，
但從來都唔係自己一個。

無論你係由第一批 overseas guest beans 就開始支持我哋，
定係尋日先偶然路過認識 Black Sugar，
你哋都係我哋繼續追求「更好一杯」嘅原因。

If you told us ten years ago
that coffee would take us to where we are today,
we probably would’ve laughed and thought you were joking.

It really started simple —
just wanting to pick unique beans from overseas
and share them with our little neighborhood.
No grand plans. No dreams of a world stage.
We never imagined we’d one day represent Hong Kong in Milan,
become a World Coffee Judge,
or even place 5th at the Hong Kong Barista Championship last year.

Over the past decade, we built our own roastery —
a dream stacked slowly,
one sack of green beans, one roast at a time.

But honestly,
more than the trophies and milestones,
it’s the everyday moments we treasure most.

In a fast-paced city like Hong Kong,
everyone moves quickly.
Yet somehow, in front of the espresso machine,
people choose to pause.

In the time it takes to finish a cup,
customers become friends,
and friends become family.

We’ve watched people meet, grow, change careers, and start businesses.
We’ve watched our team grow too — from shy beginners
to confident professionals.
Some opened their own shops, some stepped onto competition stages,
and some continue to shine behind the bar.

We’ve grown over the years,
but never on our own.

Whether you’ve been with us since the very first overseas guest beans,
or you just happened to discover Black Sugar yesterday,
you are the reason we keep chasing a better cup.

十年時間，好似眨一眨眼就過咗。

十年前啱啱開舖嘅時候，其實我哋冇乜宏大的商業計劃。
只係一對對咖啡著迷到不行嘅夫妻，身邊有一隻好可愛嘅柴犬，叫黑糖。

嗰陣時，我哋將所有嘅愛、無數個通宵夜晚，仲有滿滿嘅熱情，
都放喺三隻柴犬，同埋太平道呢間細小嘅社區咖啡店身上。
佢哋，就係我哋嘅小朋友。

所以當初幫店舖改名嘅時候，
好自然就用咗黑糖嘅名字。

轉眼之間，黑糖店長已經14歲，嘴邊多咗幾分花白。
而當年太平道嘅小小夢想，亦慢慢長大——
變成五間分店，仲有一間屬於自己嘅 roastery。

我哋一路同香港精品咖啡一齊成長，
見證彼此嘅改變，心裡始終充滿感恩。

過去3,650日，
多謝每一位曾經同我哋飲過一杯咖啡嘅你。
多謝你，陪我哋走過每一段日子。

今個星期六（Feb 28），我哋就十歲啦。
一齊返去太平道，
慶祝一切開始嘅地方 ☕

Ten years. It really does feel like we just blinked.

When we first opened our doors a decade ago, we didn’t have a grand business plan.
We were simply a husband and wife completely obsessed with coffee, with a beautiful Shiba Inu named Black Sugar by our side.

Back then, we poured all our love, countless late nights, and every bit of passion into our three Shiba Inus and a tiny neighborhood coffee shop on Peace Avenue.
They were our kids.

So when it came to naming the shop, it only felt right to name it after Black Sugar.

Fast forward to today — our Shop Manager Black Sugar is now 14 years old, his muzzle a little grayer.
And that little Peace Avenue dream has quietly grown into five locations and our very own roastery.

We grew up alongside the Hong Kong specialty coffee scene, witnessing each other’s changes along the way, and we remain deeply grateful.

Over the past 3,650 days,
thank you to every single one of you who has shared a cup of coffee with us.
Thank you for walking through these years together.

當中，兩款最新上架嘅 Master Series 特別受歡迎。

第一款來自巴拿馬 Finca Lerida —
Lot 5 Montana 蜜處理藝伎。

呢款 Gesha 走明亮而有生命力嘅路線 ✨
以茉莉花香揭開序幕，隨後係成熟水蜜桃甜感同紅桑子般嘅多汁果味；
粉紅西柚嘅酸質為整體提供清晰結構。層次自然推進，收結乾淨俐落。

另一款則來自 Elida Estate Aguacate 批次藝伎。
透過 Wilford 獨有嘅 Dark Room Drying 黑房乾燥技術 🖤，
刻意放慢乾燥節奏，令風味更集中、線條更清晰。

橙花香氣細膩透明，血橙酸質明亮純淨，慢慢轉化成蜂蜜般嘅甜感 🍯
尾段帶有伯爵茶般優雅嘅茶感收結。整體線條分明，但口感依然柔順。

Among the latest releases, two Master Series coffees have stood out.

First, from Panama’s Finca Lerida —
Lot 5 Montana Honey Gesha.

This Gesha expresses a bright and lively character ✨
It opens with jasmine florals, followed by ripe peach sweetness and juicy raspberry notes. A pink grapefruit–like acidity gives the cup structure and lift, finishing clean and composed.

The second comes from Elida Estate — Aguacate Gesha.
Processed with Wilford’s signature Dark Room Drying technique 🖤, the slower drying enhances clarity, concentration, and definition.

Delicate orange blossom aromatics lead into bright blood orange acidity, gradually melting into honeyed sweetness 🍯
The finish carries an elegant Earl Grey–like tea character — structured yet silky.
