“Zao Shen” is Kitchen God in Chinese. According to legend, “Zao Shen” is also one of the household gods, responsible for monitoring the virtue and behaviour of each family, bringing

warmth, health, prosperity and happiness to mankind.

“Zao” means “stove”. Named after the Kitchen God, we strive to do our best in pursuing fine food and impeccable service. Believing that good food is truly a blessing, we hope to bring a superb dining experience to each of our customers. We promise to do the best we could to promote sustainability. We grow and develop with the community. Through meaningful partnerships with other institutions and non-profit making organisations, plus leveraging on all appropriate resources, network and social media platform, we hope to encourage our business partners and customers to step up in protecting the earth and shaping a better living world. Introducing an exclusive wine creation crafted beautifully for ZS Hospitality Group, with a limited production of only around 300 bottles.

Our long-term collaboration with Hong Kong winemaker Jack has led us to a dedicated vineyard plot at the historic Weingut Rappenhof in Rheinhessen, Germany. Jack has meticulously designed the cultivation system, overseen the winemaking methods, and led the harvest team to capture the grape's finest expression—all within an estate guided by owner Elisabeth Muth, which carries over 400 years of family history across 13 generations.

Experience this rare, finely tailored journey to be poured across our restaurants, including Feuille, Whey and Hansik Goo .

We are thrilled to share that ZS Hospitality has been recognized across multiple categories at BAZAAR Taste Hong Kong 2026. Our commitment to excellence was highlighted with Feuille, Hansik Goo, JEE, and Whey being selected for the BAZAAR Taste Elite 30, while Uncle Quek was honoured with the Value & Vibe award.

It was also a moment to celebrate new beginnings and talent, as SOL Restaurant was named Best New Restaurant, and Chef Kim Gwanju of SOL Restaurant received the Rising Star accolade. These achievements culminated in ZS Hospitality being awarded the title of Best Hospitality Group, an honour that fuels our drive to keep creating memorable culinary journeys for you. Our hearts are heavy with the devastating tragedy that has struck our community. We stand in solidarity with those affected, grieving the loss and sharing in the pain of this unimaginable moment.

In response, ZS Hospitality Group and our partners have come together to donate a total of $450,000 to Habitat for Humanity Hong Kong and Mind HK, to support meaningful long-term recovery— from providing safe, affordable homes for affected families to expanding mental-health support services, including counselling, trauma care, and community programmes.

We are especially grateful to colleagues across every team who have made personal contributions on top of the company contribution, truly showing the spirit of the ZS family.

This is more than a donation; it’s our commitment to healing, rebuilding, and walking alongside our community through the darkest times.
