To our beloved Hong Kong community,
Nine years ago, we opened TokyoLima with a dream: to introduce this vibrant city to the soul-stirring flavours of Nikkei cuisine. Today, with hearts full of gratitude, we announce that we will be hosting our final service on 14 March.
It didn’t take long for our hidden hotspot to become a fixture of Hong Kong’s spirited nightlife - a success that perhaps caught us by surprise, yet felt entirely right. We have been overwhelmed in the best possible way by the thousands of you we’ve welcomed through our doors.
Over nearly a decade, we became a home for global talent and a must-visit destination for discerning travellers. We pioneered “Frunch,” bringing weekend revelry forward by a day to everyone’s delight. And we earned a spot on the 50Best Discovery list, a distinction that recognised not just our craft, but the electric atmosphere we created together.
We’ve had truly wonderful innings. But more importantly, we’ve had you.
It’s been a hell of a run, and we’re determined to go out on a high. Don’t miss the chance to visit us one last time to reminisce, celebrate, and say goodbye to a true, homegrown Hong Kong original.
We are closing this chapter with immense pride, making room for the stories yet to be written.
