Le Salon Restaurant et Croissanterie

Le Salon, which in French means the living room, is a sister restaurant of the renowned dining establishment, The Drawing Room. Le Salon is the first French dining concept by local celebrity chef Tony Cheng and his mentor Roland Schuller. It is offering a two-in-one concept, comprising both an intimate 40-seat French restaurant and the separate café-style ‘Croissanterie’. While the formal restaurant serves well-loved French dishes, the ‘Croissanterie’ opens to the mall and offers gourmet croissants and premium coffees. The restaurant serves authentic French cuisine in an elegantly understated setting and aims to make French dishes accessible. And the ‘Croissanterie’ is destined to be the venue of choice for lovers of quality croissants, where the products are distinguished by their distinctive flavours and artisan ingredients. All croissants are made from imported top quality French butter and French flour, baked-in-house and served fresh from the oven. The croissant dough is made with a 50% butter-to-flour ratio, meaning every 100 grams of flour is folded with 50 grams of silky French butter, ensuring superbly flaky layers and a wonderful buttery aroma. Croissanterie will launch with five flavours, comprising of chestnut, chocolate, caramel, tiramisu and mango.
