Shanta's - The Puri Shop Restaurant Shanta's was opened in 1955 by Parbatie "Betty" Persaud. Today, it's run by Betty's son, Prem, and her grandson, Mikail.

To this day, it's known for it's world-famous dahl puri and it's exceptional Indian and Creole cuisine served with a smile. This page is managed by Prem's daughter, Vinita :)
