From a table in my yard to my own business—this is the story of Jayce Catering. 🍽️✨
When I started, I was searching for jobs and constantly getting turned down. The last interview I ever went to, I was told I was "too small to stir pots."
Instead of letting that break me, I came home, took the small savings I had from my previous job, and asked my grandmother for help to build something of my own. We started Jayce Catering with just a table at the front of my yard, a tent, and a glass case my auntie helped me get.
The journey wasn't easy:
My tents kept falling and getting damaged, forcing me to buy new ones over and over again. 🌧️
I eventually adapted, set up my table and glass case in the doorway of my grandfather's apartment, and kept working and praying for open doors. 🙏
Before my grandmother passed, she told me I could use one of the apartments to open a proper snackette. When she passed away, her belief in me gave me the courage to make it big. I knew how hard it was to find a good job, and I refused to let our dream fail.
It took endless hard work, but I was never alone:
God showed me a way out every single time things got hard.
My parents, fiancé, siblings and friends endless support and encouragement.
My kids gave me the ultimate strength to make my dream a reality. ❤️
I am so proud of how far Jayce Catering has come because God never fails. When you speak to Him and put Him first, doors open. Jayce Catering will always put God first, and I will never stop working to make sure we stand out as an outstanding business! 📈✨
